Day 1 of the special event to mark the 60th Anniversary of Jagadguruttam Diwas, organized by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, went very well.
Thousands attended the Sadhana programme and in the early morning hours, many took part in the sankirtan, prayers and aarti to Shri Radha Krishna and Gurudev. The Sadhana programme went on throughout the day and devotees continued their spiritual practice in the holy Land of Vrindavan.
Furthermore, during the morning at 10am, 5000 underprivileged children were invited to Prem Mandir. Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat organized the giving of warm jackets and blankets to help these young ones to keep warm during the cold winters. JKP Presidents personally gave out the jackets and blankets to many children and they left with smiling, happy faces.
By late afternoon, devotees eagerly waited for the programme and lecture to start. The cultural programme consisted of a mesmerizing “Qawali” in dedication to Guru, a beautifully choreographed dance of Shri Radha Krishna and some of the divine leelas as written by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
